On February 28th and March 1st, Sarajevo City Center turned into a magical carnival kingdom where witches, dancers from the wild, Tarzans, super-heroes and other crazy figures ruled. At the SCC carnival scene, more than 400 masks were presented with the unrestrained carnival choreographies to the delight of a large audience eager for spectacle and fun. A fact that children's imagination truly knows no bounds, is confirmed by the figure of 29 carnival choreographies fighting for the cash awards amounting up 1,400 KM. Visitors were able to enjoy the creativity and imagination of carnival participants from schools and clubs from all over Sarajevo, presented to us as follows: 5th Primary School, 10th Elementary School, Dance Studio Masters, Elementary School Nafija Sarajlić, Elementary School Hasan Kaimija, Elementary school Fatima Gunić, public organization Home for children without parental care, Dance Studio Orion, Elementary School Avdo Smajlovic, First Elementary School Ilidža, Elementary school Jovan Dučić, Elementary School Isak Samokovljija, School of handball for girls Triko and Dance Club Fresh Generation. However, in gold lettering will remain the names of dance club Astoria, Džemaludin Čaušević Primary School and Elementary Music and Ballet school Novo Sarajevo, which makes history as the first winner of the carnival in the SCC. From individual masks and choreography, Ivana Motika was the most successful (Dance Studio Masters), then Milica Veselinovic (Dance Studio Orion) and Azra Khalili (Dance Club Fresh Generation). In pairs category, carnival ribbon decorated the necks of these young people: Mirza Besic and Mia Stjepanović (Dance Club Astoria), Lana Vasković and Anđela Simeunović (Dance Club Masters), Sofija Pejić and Marija Mičić (Primary School Jovan Dučić). The Program was masterfully led by Elvir Hadžijamaković - Lilo who, as an addition to managing the carnival ceremony, honored the kids with his melodious singing. To perform heavy choreographies you need a lot of sugar, so the candy store - "Dino Park Loli" that will open its doors on level -1 in SCC on March 7th, treated the kids with free candies. Hereby we would like to thank all the participants and the audience for their participation, and we announce yet more cheerful and colorful carnival next year, until then - sew costumes and practice performances because more joy and fun are yet to come!
