Progressive glasses have three zones in the lens - the upper zone for distance, the middle zone for medium distances and the lower zone for near. These zones are gradually connected, which allows for a smooth transition between different focus distances.
The advantage of progressive glasses is that they enable clear vision at different distances without the need to change glasses. However, some people may need some time to get used to using progressive glasses, as they have to learn to properly focus their gaze on the appropriate zone of the glass.
It is important to note that in order to obtain progressive glasses, it is necessary to undergo a vision examination by an ophthalmologist or optometrist in order to determine the correct diopters and adjust the shape of the glass according to the needs of each individual.
